Authorization for Auto-Copying Portfolios
By selecting to auto-copy a portfolio through the dub platform, you authorize DASTA Financial, LLC ("Broker-Dealer") to execute securities transactions in your brokerage account in accordance with the portfolio you have chosen to copy. This means:
-
Execution of Trades: When you allocate funds to a portfolio, you are placing self-directed trade orders that match the securities and weightings of the selected portfolio. These trades will be executed by the Broker-Dealer based on your instructions.
-
Limited Discretion for Rebalancing: If the creator of the portfolio modifies their portfolio by adding, removing, or adjusting security allocations, your portfolio will be automatically rebalanced to reflect those changes. This rebalance occurs under your authorization and within the parameters of the copied portfolio.
-
Notification of Changes: You will receive notifications regarding any changes made to the portfolio you are copying. You may choose to discontinue auto-copying at any time. If you stop copying a portfolio, you are taking action to sell at your discretion.
-
Broker-Dealer Role: The Broker-Dealer facilitates the execution of trades based on your instructions and the portfolio’s composition. It does not provide investment advice, and its role in rebalancing is solely incidental to its brokerage function. The Broker-Dealer does not select or modify your investments beyond executing your copying instructions.
-
Fees and Compensation: The Broker-Dealer does not receive special compensation for rebalancing services. It may, however, receive payment for order flow in connection with executing trades.
By enabling auto-copy, you acknowledge and accept that your portfolio will be adjusted in accordance with the portfolio creator’s changes unless you choose to disable this feature.
