1. How can I set up recurring investments?
Setting up recurring investments on dub is a simple process that allows you to automatically invest in your chosen portfolios at regular intervals. Here's how to get started:
- Choose Your Portfolio
- Navigate to any portfolio you want to invest in regularly
- This can be a Self-Created, Premium, or User-Created portfolio
- Access the Recurring Investment Options
- If you're not yet invested in the portfolio:
- Tap the "Copy" button
- Enter your investment amount
- Select "Recurring" instead of "One-time"
- If you're already invested in the portfolio:
- Scroll down to find the "Recurring Investment" section
- Tap "Set up a schedule" OR
- Tap "Copy More" and select "Recurring"
- If you're not yet invested in the portfolio:
- Configure Your Schedule
- Enter the amount you want to invest regularly
- Choose your preferred frequencySelect your preferred day for the investment
- Review and Confirm
- Review the investment details and schedule
- Tap "Schedule Order" to confirm
2. When can I schedule recurring investments?
You can schedule recurring investments at the following intervals:
- Every 1 week
- Every 2 weeks
- Every 1 month
3. When is the money deducted from my account?
DASTA Financial, LLC will initiate an ACH deposit on the business day you scheduled your recurring investment. For example, if your recurring investment is set for Tuesday, DASTA Financial will initiate the deposit on Tuesday.
4. What am I agreeing to when signing up for recurring investments?
By signing up, you are:
- Granting DASTA Financial, LLC the authority to initiate ACH transactions from your linked bank account to your brokerage account.
- Authorizing DASTA Financial to place orders in the selected portfolio at the interval you specify.
5. Can I cancel my recurring investments at any time?
Yes, you can cancel a recurring investment at any time. However, if an ACH transfer has already been initiated, DASTA Financial can not cancel that ACH transfer and any cancellation would be applied going forward.
Furthermore, if you liquidate the portfolio associated with your recurring investments or unlink your bank account, dub will automatically cancel your recurring investment schedule.
6. What happens if I don’t have sufficient funds for my recurring investment?
If the deposit is initiated but fails due to insufficient funds, the related queued purchases will be canceled, and any future recurring investments will be canceled. If the deposit is complete, and subsequent investment orders are executed, but your deposit fails during the settlement period, those purchases will be liquidated and a $30 fee will be assessed to your account.
7. Does this service cost me anything?
No, DASTA Financial, LLC offers recurring investments at no additional cost to customers.
