Recurring investments allow you to automatically invest in your chosen portfolios at regular intervals, helping you build wealth consistently over time. This guide explains how recurring investments work on dub and how to set them up, manage them, and cancel them if needed.
What Are Recurring Investments?
Recurring investments are scheduled, automatic investments into portfolios of your choice. They allow you to:
- Invest consistently without having to remember to make manual deposits
- Take advantage of dollar-cost averaging by investing at regular intervals
- Build your investment portfolio gradually with amounts that fit your budget
- Develop good investing habits through automation
Requirements Before Setting Up Recurring Investments
Before setting up recurring investments:
- You must have an initial position in the portfolio. The first investment into any portfolio cannot be a recurring investment
- The minimum recurring investment amount is either $100 or the portfolio minimum plus 20% (whichever is larger). This buffer helps accommodate potential rebalancing that may adjust minimum investment requirements
How to Set Up Recurring Investments
For Portfolios You Haven't Invested In Yet:

Choose a Portfolio
- Navigate to any portfolio you want to invest in regularly
- This can be a Self-Created, Premium, or User-Created portfolio

Start the Investment Process
- Tap the "Copy" button
- Enter your investment amount
- Select "Recurring" instead of "One-time"

Configure Your Schedule
- Enter the amount you want to invest regularly
- Choose your preferred frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
- Select your preferred day for the investment

Review and Confirm
- Review the investment details and schedule
- Tap "Schedule Order" to confirm
For Portfolios You're Already Invested In:

Access the Portfolio
- Navigate to the portfolio you're already invested in

Find Recurring Investment Options
- Scroll down to find the "Recurring Investment" section
- Tap "Set up a schedule" OR
- Tap "Copy More" and select "Recurring"

- Follow the same steps as above to set up your schedule

How Recurring Investments Work
When you set up recurring investments, here's what happens:

Automatic Bank Transfers
- DASTA Financial, LLC will initiate an ACH deposit from your linked bank account on the business day you scheduled
- For example, if your recurring investment is set for Tuesday, the deposit will be initiated on Tuesday

Portfolio Investment
- Once the funds are received, they are automatically invested in your chosen portfolio according to its current allocation
- The system places orders to maintain the portfolio's target percentages

Ongoing Management
- Your recurring investments continue automatically until you cancel them
- You'll receive confirmations of each investment
Available Frequencies
You can schedule recurring investments at the following intervals:
- Every 1 week
- Every 2 weeks
- Every 1 month
How to Cancel Recurring Investments
You can cancel your recurring investments at any time:

Navigate to the Portfolio
- Open the portfolio with the recurring investment you want to cancel

Locate the Recurring Investment Section
- Scroll down to "Recurring Investments"
- You will see the amount, frequency, and an "X" mark for every recurring deposit

Cancel the Schedule
- Click the "X" mark to cancel the recurring investment
- Click "Confirm Cancel" on the popup

Confirmation
- You'll receive confirmation that your recurring investment has been canceled
Note: If an ACH transfer has already been initiated, DASTA Financial cannot cancel that specific transfer, but any future recurring investments will be canceled.
Important Information
What Happens If You Don't Have Sufficient Funds?
- If a deposit fails due to insufficient funds, the related queued purchases will be canceled
- Any future recurring investments will also be automatically canceled
- If the deposit completes but fails during the settlement period, purchases will be liquidated and a $30 fee will be assessed
Automatic Cancellation
Your recurring investments will be automatically canceled if:
- You liquidate the associated portfolio
- You unlink the bank account used for the deposits
Costs
DASTA Financial, LLC offers recurring investments at no additional cost to customers.
What You're Agreeing To
By setting up recurring investments, you are:
- Granting DASTA Financial, LLC the authority to initiate ACH transactions from your linked bank account
- Authorizing DASTA Financial to place orders in the selected portfolio at the interval you specify
