When you close your dub account, it's important to understand that your personal information remains in our system as required by financial regulations. This means:
- You cannot create a new account using the same personal information (phone number, name, Social Security Number, date of birth, etc.) after closing an existing account

Your only option is to reopen your previously closed account if you wish to use dub's services again
How to Reopen Your Closed Account
To reopen a previously closed dub account:
- Contact Customer Support Fill out a Support Request Form under the "Account Maintenance" topic

Include the following information in your email:
- Full name as it appeared on your account
- Email address used for your dub account
- Phone number associated with your account
- Brief reason for reopening (optional)
- Verification process - For security purposes, our team may verify your identity before proceeding with the reopening process
Timeline and Expectations
- Most account reopening requests are processed within 24 hours of verification
- You will receive email confirmation once your account has been successfully reopened
- After reopening, you will need to:
- Sign in with your previous credentials
- Relink your bank account if necessary
- Set up a new subscription if your previous one had been cancelled
