What Are Trade Confirmations?
Trade confirmations are official records generated whenever securities (stocks or ETFs) are bought or sold in your account. These documents contain important information about each transaction, including:
- Date and time of the trade
- Security name and ticker symbol
- Number of shares bought or sold
- Price per share
- Total transaction amount
- Any fees associated with the trade
Trade confirmations serve as your official receipt for each transaction and are important records for tax and accounting purposes.
Automatic Trade Confirmations for Copied Portfolios
When you copy a portfolio on dub, your account automatically mirrors any updates or rebalances made to that portfolio to maintain alignment with the original strategy. This means:
- Trades will be automatically executed to keep your portfolio aligned with the portfolio's strategy
- You'll receive trade confirmation notifications for these automatic trades, even though you didn't manually place them yourself
- These confirmations are normal and indicate that your copied portfolio is being maintained as expected

Notifications for Trade Confirmations
Currently, notifications for trade confirmations cannot be disabled as they are a regulatory requirement. These notifications help ensure transparency and provide you with timely information about all activity in your account.
