Before You Begin
Before initiating a withdrawal, ensure:
- Your funds are eligible for withdrawal
- Newly deposited funds require a 5-business-day settlement period
- Funds from sold portfolios require a 1-business-day (T+1) settlement period
- You can check your withdrawable balance in the Bank Transfers section
- You have a bank account linked to your dub account
- Withdrawals can only be made to the same bank account you used for deposits
Step-by-Step Withdrawal Process
1. Access the Withdrawal Feature
- Open the dub app
- Tap on your profile icon in the top right corner of the Home Page
- Select "Bank Transfers" from the menu
2. Initiate the Withdrawal
- On the Bank Transfers screen, you'll see your withdrawable cash at the top
- Tap the "Withdraw" button
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
- Remember: The maximum single transaction limit is $25,000
- The maximum daily withdrawal limit is $50,000
- Review the withdrawal amount
- Tap "Submit" to confirm your withdrawal request
3. Confirmation
After submitting your withdrawal request:
- You'll see a confirmation message in the app
- The funds will be debited from your dub account
- A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address
Converting Invested Funds to Withdrawable Funds
If your funds are currently invested in portfolios, you'll need to sell those positions before withdrawing:
How to Sell a Portfolio:
- From the Home Page, locate the portfolio you wish to sell
- Tap on the portfolio to open it
- Tap the "Sell" button
- Choose "Sell All" or enter a specific amount to sell
- Review the details and tap "Confirm"
- After one business day (T+1), the funds will be available for withdrawal
Withdrawal Timeline
After initiating a withdrawal:
- It typically takes 3-5 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account
- This timeline depends on your bank's processing procedures
- Business days exclude weekends and bank holidays
