Understanding the withdrawal process, including settlement periods and limits, will help you manage your funds effectively.
Withdrawal Limits
We've established the following limits to ensure secure and efficient fund transfers:
- Maximum daily withdrawal limit: $50,000 (total withdrawals per day)
- Maximum single transaction limit: $50,000 (per individual withdrawal)
Withdrawal Timeline
The timeline for withdrawals depends on several factors, including recent deposits, portfolio investments, and bank processing times.
Settlement Periods Before Withdrawal
- For Recently Deposited Funds:
- New deposits have a mandatory 5-business-day settlement period
- This period starts the next business day after your deposit
- During this settlement period, funds cannot be withdrawn even if they show as available for trading
- Example: If you deposit on Monday, funds will be available for withdrawal the following Tuesday (assuming no holidays)
- For Funds Invested in Portfolios:
- Funds invested in portfolios must first be sold
- After selling, there is a T+1 settlement period (one business day)
- Example: If you sell a portfolio on Wednesday, funds will be available for withdrawal on Thursday
- Bank Processing Time:
- Once you initiate a withdrawal, it typically takes 3-5 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account
- This timeline varies depending on your bank's processing procedures
National holidays and weekends do not count as business days for settlement purposes.
Available Balance vs. Withdrawable Cash
- Available Balance: Funds you can use to invest in portfolios
- Withdrawable Cash: Funds that have completed all settlement periods and can be withdrawn to your bank account
