Premium creator portfolios charge a management fee instead of a subscription fee. This article explains how that fee works, how it's calculated, and where to find it.
What is the Management Fee?
A management fee is what you pay to have dub Advisors actively manage a Premium portfolio on your behalf — including trading, rebalancing, and ongoing supervision of the strategy. It's charged instead of a subscription fee, and it applies only to the portion of your account invested in a Premium portfolio.
You'll always see the exact fee for a portfolio before you copy it. The fee is shown on the portfolio's Overview page and again on the Confirm your investment screen, so there are no surprises.
How is the Fee Calculated?
The management fee is:
- Based on your assets under management — it's charged as a percentage of the value of the assets in your account that copy a dub Advisors Premium portfolio.
- Annualized — the percentage shown is the annual rate (per annum).
- Billed monthly — the annual rate is divided across the year and assessed each month.
- Pulled automatically — the fee is deducted directly from your investment, so there's nothing you need to pay manually.
Management fee rates can vary by portfolio. Always check the fee listed on the specific portfolio you're copying — that's your accurate rate.
When you copy a Premium portfolio, you authorize Apex, the custodian that maintains your account, to pay the management fee to dub Advisors out of your account.
Where To Your Management Fees
- Before copying: The fee appears on the portfolio's Overview page (under "Management Fees") and on the Confirm your investment screen.
- After copying: Go to Account Settings → Management Fees. There you'll find a description of how the fee works and a Payment History section showing any fees that have been charged. If you don't have any charges yet, this section will simply note that you have no payment history.
