Copy is an innovative feature on dub that enables you to automatically mirror the actions and updates made by the creator of a portfolio you've copied in real time. This ensures your investment remains aligned with the original strategy in real-time. When you tap to Copy a portfolio, you are providing DASTA Financial with limited discretion to place orders in alignment with the portfolio you Copy. For each portfolio you copy, we provide a 3-month check-in to ensure that the copied portfolio continues to align with your investment goals. 

Copy Frequently Asked Questions

If I've copied a portfolio in the past, what happens to it now?
All existing portfolio copies made prior to the Copy launch will remain in your account, however the syncing feature will be discontinued. These portfolios will become self-managed, offering you full control with no option to sync to the portfolio creator's updates. You may sell out of your copied portfolio at any time. 

If I copy a portfolio, does it ever stop copying?
No, once you've copied a portfolio using Copy, the synchronization continues automatically. This ensures that your investment reflects any changes made by the portfolio creator, providing a seamless and dynamic experience. However, as a safety measure, we require you to confirm that you wish to continue to copy a portfolio every three months.  

What happens to my copy if the creator of the portfolio stops managing it?
If the creator stops managing the portfolio, your copy will continue to reflect the last known holdings and weights. You will, however, have the option to sell your copy at any time or choose a different portfolio to copy. As a reminder, for each portfolio you copy, we provide a 3-month check-in to ensure that the copied portfolio continues to align with your investment goals. 

Do I get notified when there are updates to the portfolio?
Yes, you will receive notifications whenever there are updates to the portfolio you've copied. This keeps you informed in real-time about any changes made by the creator, allowing you to stay connected to your investment.

Can I sell my copy of the portfolio at any time?
Absolutely! Copy provides you with the flexibility to sell your copy of the portfolio whenever you choose. Simply navigate to the app's home page, locate your portfolio under "Portfolios I've Copied", and follow the intuitive steps to sell.

What is the minimum investment into a portfolio?
The minimum investment into a portfolio is determined by the number of holdings and their weights in each portfolio. This information can be found after tapping "invest" on the portfolio landing page. You may also invest additional funds into your portfolio at any time based on the minimum investment (or in the future) set a recurring amount to invest in your favorite portfolio.
